A converted container is a finished steel building that arrives on a truck: insulated, wired, climate-controlled if you want it, with personnel doors, windows, and lighting already in place. It typically sets on level, compacted ground. Site, structural, fire, access, and permit requirements vary by installation and should be checked for your location. Because it is a steel container, it is relocatable: depending on its configuration and your site, it can move to another building or be resold when the need changes.
Corten steel walls and a welded steel frame are built for weather and the daily traffic of a working yard. Every unit is fabricated in-house at our 200,000 sq. ft. Texas facility, so modifications like ventilation, insulation, or additional electrical are engineered by the people who build the box.
