Frequently Asked Questions About Shipping Container Pricing
Why do new containers cost more than used ones?

Can I finance my shipping container purchase?
How can I ensure the quality of a used container?
When buying a used container, it is advised to buy from reputable companies and sellers who offer warranties or guarantees. XCaliber offers a 1-year service warranty for our new and refurbished shipping containers. Although we do not offer this warranty with our used wind and watertight shipping containers, we do guarantee them to be wind and watertight on delivery with no leaks or holes.
It is also advised to buy from local companies who keep stock on hand and allow customers to physically inspect containers in person and allow them to pick out their own container. At XCaliber, we are proud to offer our customers this opportunity at our headquarters in Graham, TX and with multiple Show Yard locations throughout the state of Texas. Customers can schedule an appointment with one of our Container Experts at our main location in Graham, TX to view and inspect containers, or they can visit the nearest Show Yard location to view our shipping contaners.

Be aware of online container sales companies that do not have a physical location open to customers. These container sales companies do not keep inventory on hand and do not have quality standards. They often wait until they receive an order to source a container from a wholesale shipping container depot. When doing this, they have no way to inspect the container for themselves to ensure their customer will receive a high-quality used container, often leading to used as-is shipping containers being advertised and sold as wind and watertight condition. While as-is shipping containers and wind and watertight shipping containers may appear similar at first glance, as-is shipping containers will have major signs of heavy use and even structural damage.
